President Yoweri Museveni has blamed the recent challenges in the ruling NRM party on internal bickering.

Citing recent by-elections where NRM lost to the opposition, the President who is also the NRM party chairman, was optimistic that the new young leaders including Secretary General Kasule Lumumba would turn around the party’s fortunes.

President Museveni was addressing the people at Soroti Sports grounds during the Liberation Day Celebrations.
