Our founders ventured across a total of 5 European countries and visited 10 major cities in our flagship NIO ET7, clocking up over 2500km in 10 days!
They embarked on their European journey from Munich, Germany, and arrived 10 days later at their final destination in Oslo, Norway.
On the road, they did not just test the drive ability and functionality of our all-electric flagship sedan ET7, but they also experienced an ever-increasing variety of public charging stations that are available to gain a better understanding of the evolving charging infrastructure across Europe.
Moreover, William and Lihong visited our upcoming NIO Houses and NIO Power Swap Stations currently under construction. They discussed with our local NIO teams the importance of regional localization needs and requirements.
More importantly, during their pit stops, they discussed with vehicle owners, NIO User Advisory Board (UAB) members, and fleet managers to discover what truly resonates with them. The discussions highlighted mobility expectations in Europe and assisted William and Lihong in empathizing with the European community. This became a strong inspiration for our approach and launch into the European markets. NIO continues to adapt based on the current needs of the markets and of the users, and this is how we want to create an innovative and unparalleled user experience.
