Back in November of 2020, one of the pressers in the community ran a special for the holidays allowing you to submit up to 25 books for pressing for $8 a book. Not only did I take advantage, but I asked him after pressing the books to submit to CGC for a prescreen given his discount.
I just got my submission back and something went horribly wrong. The books were returned from CGC. However, the books didn't come in one of the standard CGC boxes that I would typically receive. Additionally, all of my books which were sent to the presser in Gerber Fullbacks and Mylites. Upon receipt of the books that didn't make the cut, a substantial number of the books were returned in different bags and boards (thin and cheap with horrible bags covering them).
Not sure what happened here, but since i was not in control of the books (which will not happen again), I can't point the finger. Instead, I hope this is a valuable lesson on what can happen when sending books out.
