On this episode I’m speaking with Cody Dietrich, Partner at Hayes Dietrich.
Cody shares insights on building the largest and most costly development project in Minneapolis during the height of COVID and amidst the unrest that followed the murder of George Floyd.
Dietrich highlights the unique features of the building, including 30,000 square feet of internal amenity space, a courtyard, and two dog runs on the 25th floor. He also speaks to the challenges of working through the unrest and uncertainty, with 200 to 300 people on site most days and protests happening right by the project. Despite the difficulties, the project ended up unscathed, thanks to nighttime security and the efforts of Dietrich and his team.
