Umno supreme council member Tajuddin Abdul Rahman says the former ruling party will be joining forces with PAS to strengthen the opposition in Parliament.

Tajuddin adds that the cooperation may extend beyond Parliament.

This comes after PAS and Umno announced a joint protest against the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (Icerd) in Kuala Lumpur on Dec 8.
