The Festival of the Rose in Kazanlak, Bulgaria takes place every year. It has been organized annually since 1903.. It celebrates the deep connection to the Rosa Damascena – the Bulgarian oil-bearing rose.
In 2018 the festival Began on the 18th of May and ended on the 10th of June.
The Main Event happens on the weekend of 1-3rd of June – Festive concert Coronation of the Rose Queen and the Rose Festive Parade).
The town of Kazanlak. Rose-picking rituals takes place in a few villages surrounding the town of Kazanla.
