Most international investors still keep their entire investment portfolio in the US or European stock market, despite the rise of the Chinese market. Maybe it's time to have a look at what opportunities hide in the east?

Companies such as Alibaba, NIO, Netease, Huawei, Baidu and Tencent has taken the world by storm and are expanding outside of China. They offer attractive growth, strong innovation and a favorable upside to their share prices so I think they're worth a look.

Many of the biggest Chinese companies are listed in the US as ADR or OTC ADR, which mirrors the actual share price of the underlying share price, Alibaba (NYSE:BABA) is a great example!

I think the potential in Chinese internet and tech stocks in particular is great and i think investors will be well served holding at least one big Chinese company.
