Severe weather will be possible today through Saturday. Damaging winds and large hail will be the main risks from the storms. A few isolated tornadoes will also be possible. Then, a major cold blast will send temperatures crashing into this weekend. This will cause widespread frost and freeze concerns. The long-range weather pattern looks very active with flooding rains likely across the Southern and Southeastern states into next week.
