Yamaha Motor India has pulled the wraps off the 2020 FZ 25 that now meets the BS6 emission norms. Interestingly, the company has also unveiled the FZS 25 variant of the motorcycle that is now the new range-topping version. The 2020 Yamaha FZ 25 gets a host of new equipment along with the new BS6 compliant engine and new colour schemes as well. Prices though are yet to be announced with the FZ 25 scheduled for launch in April this year, while the new FZS 25 is slated for launch later in the year.

2020 Yamaha FZ 25 gets styling revisions including the revised headlamp cluster that gets the bi-functional treatment and continues to be an LED unit. There's also a negative LCD display for the instrument console, underbelly cowl and a side-stand engine cut-off switch added in the mix. The FZ 25 continues to get the muscular styling and will be available in two colour options - Metallic Black and Racing Blue. The new Yamaha FZS 25 will sport all the changes as the FZ 25 but will be offered in Dark Cyan, Dark Blue and Metallic White paint options. The former two colour options will be offered with gold-painted alloy wheels
Yamaha MT 15 Latest Updates
Yamaha MT-15 BS6 has been launched at Rs 1,38,900. This makes it Rs 2,900 more expensive than the BS4 version. A new Ice Fluo Vermilion colour scheme has been launched at Rs 1,39,400 as well. Engine output is down by 0.8PS and 0.8Nm compared to the BS4 version.
The Yamaha MT-15 is essentially the naked version of the R15 V3 with more upright ergonomics that are better suited to everyday use. It employs a 155cc liquid-cooled SOHC engine that also gets Yamaha’s VVA technology. Output stands at 19.3PS and 14.7Nm, and the motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via an assist and slipper clutch. To bring the MT-15 to a stop, Yamaha has given it a 282mm front disc and 220mm rear disc assisted by single-channel ABS.
The frame is a signature Yamaha Deltabox unit, suspended on a conventional telescopic fork and preload adjustable monoshock. 17-inch wheels at either ends are wrapped in 100/80-R17 and 140/70-R17 rubber. In terms of features, the MT-15 gets an LED headlight, LED DRLs, a fully digital instrument cluster and an LED tail-lamp. Priced at Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the MT-15 competes directly against the KTM 125 Duke.
