The cedar drone flute is an old instrument and it's one of my favorites. Recently while up in the mountains I was able to purchase one for myself from a very nice fellow named Dan in Highlands, NC, and so for the past three weeks or so I've been learning how to play it. The song you hear me playing in the video is completely made up on the spot, aside from one part. I think you guys can agree that even when you're just playing free-hand and without much thinking, the instrument still sounds amazing.
