Another declassified training film; it took me forever to find this one.
A vintage film detailing the disassembly, function, and operation of the M14 rifle. This one is particularly significant, considering what's been going on in recent years. The M14 had the shortest service life of any rifle ever issued by the U.S. armed forces, but it made a reappearance in Iraq. The sand in Iraq has the composition of talcum powder, so it sticks to the generous lubrication of the M16. The M14, by comparison, is much more rugged, and its heavy 7.62x51mm. round makes it excellent as a tool for designated marksman.
