FPWA, a leading anti-poverty advocacy organization, invites advocates, analysts, and anyone interested in understanding NYC funding to join their Fiscal Policy team in exploring NYC Budget History through data. The presentation will showcase FPWA’s NYC Funds Tracker, an interactive dashboard that leverages CheckbookNYC data to shed light on the fiscal workings of the city government, with a particular focus on the human service sector.
Attendees can expect to gain an understanding of budgetary trends over the past decade and learn how to utilize FPWA's dashboard, data, and coding tools for research and advocacy
