Dennis Hauger is an ambitious Norwegian racing driver hoping to race for Red Bull in F1 to become Norway's first Formula One participant. He is currently racing with Prema in Formula 3, team-mates to Leclerc and Caldwell.
Dennis Hauger’s interest in motorsports was sparked at a very young age, when he joined his father on rallies and hill climbs as a one-year-old and a year later he was given his first ATV.
A motocross bike followed at four, a go-kart at five and three years later he won his first race at the age of eight. And he hasn’t looked back since.
In the period between 2011 and 2013 he was on the podium in 62 out of 70 races, both nationally and abroad, and in his first season in WSK in 2015, he was on the podium in 13 out of 14 races (with seven victories).
In 2016 he became the youngest ever DKM OKJ German Champion and in 2017 he became the youngest ever driver in OK, naturally also becoming the youngest ever champion too.
Having enjoyed such a successful junior karting career, it’s no surprise that Hauger has lofty ambitions for his career in the professional ranks, saying: “My optimal goal is to be a world champion in F1, with a lot of victories and good results on the way, always fighting for the win.”
In 2018 Dennis took his place on the Red Bull Junior Team and in the Formula 4 British Championship with Arden Motorsport, a partnership that resulted in ten podiums and fourth place overall after his first season with the team.
Dennis broadened his horizons the following year, with appearances across multiple championships all over Europe. He finished second overall in ADAC Formula 4, first overall in the Italian F4 Championship and 19th overall in the Euroformula Open Championship after two appearances.
The 2020 season saw Dennis claim one podium place in the European Formula 3 Championship before the season was curtailed prematurely, but he soon made up for lost time in 2021 with big results in Barcelona, Marseille, Spielberg and Budapest.
