Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action. With winter ending with the beginning of March and spring, temperatures began to rise and the snow from the ‘Beast from the East’ storm began to melt slowly but eventually.
About 90 minutes at York railway station during the afternoon of 3rd March in what reminds of the snowfall from previous days, there has been some interesting traffic coming in and out of the station despite the weather has cut back most of the passenger services from entering Scotland and several other places in Northern England. Check out the steam loco 70013 ‘Oliver Cromwell’ towards the end of the video doing its last charter service as well as all the other standard services.
Trains include: Virgin Trains EC HST’s & 225 sets, CrossCountry Voyagers, Transpennine Express 185’s, Northern 158’s, East Midlands Trains 222 & HST power cars (On hire for VTEC), GBRF
66’s, DB Cargo 90039 (On hire to VTEC), DRS 88 stabled, West Coast Railways 47 and BR class 7 70013 ‘Oliver Cromwell’ steam loco
