On March 9, 2012, Wigdor LLP Founding Partner Douglas H. Wigdor, who represented the hotel maid in the Dominique Strauss-Kahn (DSK) civil sexual assault case, gave a speech at the Faculty of Law at Cambridge University in opposition to DSK's scheduled appearance that same day at The Cambridge Union Society. That evening, student protestors demonstrated outside of the Union building in opposition to the Union's decision to allow DSK to speak after multiple allegations of sexual assault surfaced against him.
