Addressing a public meeting in Telangana's Secunderabad, PM said, “BRS is anti-Dalit and Congress is no less than that. While BRS insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar by demanding a new Constitution, the history of Congress is also similar. Congress opposed Baba Saheb and did not allow him to win the elections twice. Congress did not allow Baba Saheb’s photo to be installed in the Central Hall of the old Parliament House for decades. Because of Congress, Baba Saheb was not even given Bharat Ratna for decades.”
