Moving a Heavy Patient up in Bed

This video describes how to move and position a heavy patient in bed - use a large plastic garbage bag as a turn sheet or order one with handles - they will slide much easier than the sheets. Of course always tell the patient what you plan to do before you move.
Put one foot forward as you prepare to move the patient. Put your weight on your front leg.
