Dr Maria Madge, Chiropractor, talks to The Sports Injury Clinic ([ Ссылка ]) about Sacroiliac Joint Pain.
The Si joints (Sacroiliac Joints) can give a lot of localised pain in the front of the groin area and the lower back causing a debilitating pain which can sometimes be felt as far down as the heel.
The joint gets stiff, the local muscles get imflammation in that area and due to this the whole pelvic complex stops working completely so the opposite SI joint will try to compensate which, in turn, can cause pain to this joint.
A chiroppractor will find which joint is most restricted and increase that joint using adjustments and mobilisation techniques. The gluteal area is also loosened along with the muscles going into the lower back to help to improve the flexion and extension of the area, thereby restoring C - lumbar lordosis.
