1-Anterior Body of Pubis
2-Inferior Ramus of Pubis
Insertion:
Proximal Part of the Medial Shaft of the Tibia (Forms Pes Anserine tendon)
Functions:
1-Adduction of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
2-Flexion of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
3-Flexion of the Leg @ the Knee Joint
4-Anterior Tilt of the Pelvis @ the Hip Joint
5-Medial Rotation of the Thigh @ the Hip Joint
6-Medial Rotation of the Leg @ the Knee Joint
Nerve:
The Obturator Nerve (L2, L3)
Activation: (Supine) Adduction of the Hip (Knee Bent)
Lengthening: (Supine) Abduction of the Hip (Knee Extended) (Slight Hip Extension)
