finally, i give a little pep talk for those of us on a weight loss journey… and i will keep repeating this until you hear me: the holiday season is the perfect time to practice maintenance. for most folks it’s a really tough time to continue a calorie deficit - especially with all your fave foods and celebrations going on.
instead of feeling restricted, take advantage of the season and make these few weeks a maintenance phase or extended diet break. if you approach it with a mindful plan, you will not lose progress - and more importantly, you’ll be hype to continue your journey after the holidays and not giving up from feeling burnt out.
