For some reason, it seems that there is more and more drama that is building within the cosplay competition scene... and that is not cool.
Statistically, you are not going to win a cosplay competition. And the only person you have any control over is yourself, your mindset and your behaviour. Winning is awesome, it's true. And losing can suck, it's also true. But what if rather than winning, you look at it as - today wasn't your turn to win. That comes later.
In this video I reflect on my own experiences with cosplay competitions - and its coming from a very competitive person's view - and how I now compete. This includes a story of the time I was called out and I am super appreciative of @BeMoreShonen for doing so. It was not my proudest moment, but I now view it as the best learning opportunity I've ever had - the lightbulb moment if you will!
