This game PLAYS like games from 1994 but it's truly our Cyberpunk, Blade Runner future fantasy. Inspired by Doom, the ROOT of Bioshock, throwing in some deep space viruses and murderous computer AI - it's reminiscent of Resident Evil in space and is a great game to literally and figuratively get lost in.

Originally released in 1994, System Shock is best known through the games it inspired, such as BioShock, Dead Space and Prey. Starting out as a Hacker caught and recruited in exchange for military-grade neural implants, you've unleashed a homicidal AI, Shodan, after removing her ethical constraints. Waking from surgery, you find the Citadel Space Station devastated by Shodan and her biological virus that has transformed crew into pliant cyborgs and humanoid mutants. A small sect of survivors and rebels are alive and trapped in the Station, and you must help them stop Shodan before she can finish off the humans of Citadel before wiping out the rest of humanity on Earth.
