Signs of trouble for the ruling BJP emerged in Karnataka on Monday as chief minister BS Yediyurappa braces to expand his six-month old ministry on Thursday. The lobbying and pressure tactics are expected to intensify over the next two days as senior party MLAs are in no mood to relent to CM's reasoning or requests for patience. The chief minister is helpless as of now as he has just three positions for the party old timers. Yediyurappa on Sunday clarified that he cannot induct Vishwanath and Nagaraj as they lost bypolls in light of the restrictions imposed by the Supreme Court. As for R.Shankar of Renebennur, who did not contest at the advice of the party, the CM said he will be made a minister soon after his election to the Legislative Council. As of now, the only Legislative Council seat that is available now will go to Deputy CM Laxman Savadi.Visit Us at:
