Tasnif-e "Irani", composed by Parviz Meshkarian in the Mahour mode (Dastgah), was performed at Iran's National University (now Shahid Beheshti University) in December 1979.
This captivating performance was later published in an album titled "Sepideh".
In this masterpiece, the world-renowned vocalist Mohammad Reza Shajarian mesmerizes the audience as the singer, while the maestro Mohammad Reza Lotfi brilliantly leads the Sheyda ensemble.
The lyrics of this exceptional work were written by Javad Azar.
