🎨What is CHKDSK command?
CHKDSK is a command program that runs on DOS, OS/2 and Windows operating systems.It will be invoked to check a disk when a false shutdown or illegal shutdown occurs.
🎨What is RAW drive?
RAW drive indicates a state of your hard drive which has no or unknown file system. You cannot access to it, or saving any file on this drive.
🎨To prepare for formatting the RAW drive:
Use 4DDiG Data Recovery.
To begin with, Download and install 4DDiG.
Then, in the homepage, you can select the RAW drive and click scan.
Also, you can choose the types you wanna scan.
When you find your data, you can select it, and preview it.
The last step, you can click recover, and save it to a different location.
🎨How to fix RAW Drive?
🎈Method 1: Format The RAW Drive By Disk Management
Right click the Start menu, select Disk Management.
Find the RAW drive, and click Format.
You can change the label, and file system.
Don't forget to check Perform A Quick Format.
Then, click OK to start the formatting.
🎈Method 2: Format The RAW Drive By Command Prompt
First, press Win key and R key, and type cmd -admin to open the Command Prompt in admin mode.
Then you need to type some commands, and for time issue, I won't explain much more details on their functions.
Type diskpart
Hit enter.
Type list volume
Hit enter.
Then, find the volume number of your RAW drive.
Type select volume #
Finally, type format fs=ntfs quick
if you want to format it to FAT32, you can replace NTFS to FAT32.
