Pro-Palestine protesters gathered outside the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff to protest against Israel’s targeting of hospitals and medical staff in Gaza.
The Israeli military has been accused of deliberately targeting Gaza’s health system through constant attacks on hospitals, ambulances and doctors since the war on Gaza began last year.
Amnesty International has reported that Israeli forces have detained hundreds of Palestinian healthcare workers without charge or trial during this time. These workers, the organisation said, have been subjected to torture, ill-treatment and incommunicado detention.
