Armed with pack rafts, waterproof dry suits & waders, and plenty of bright lights, my small crew found the end of the Castner Glacier ice cave and rafted several floatable sections of the cave. When we reached the end of the cave, gushing water was entering from beneath a wall of ice. I suspect the cave might open back up if you were to crawl beneath the ice against the current, but we left our scuba gear at home. The outside temperature was a balmy 15°F (-10°C) but the interior of the cave was close to freezing temperature. I shot this video with a Canon R5 (handheld, 16-35mm f/2.8 lens) & a Sony a7SIII (tripod, 24mm f/1.4 lens), mostly at ISO 12,800 or 25,600.
