TOP MEN’S NEW ARRIVAL – JUSTIN’S PICK
Vintage Omega Flightmaster ref. 145.026
The Omega Flightmaster holds a special place in the brand’s catalog because it was produced for just a few years between the late 1960s and 1977. Like many of the models developed by Omega, the Flightmaster was designed with a specific profession or lifestyle in mind, specifically for British Airways crew and Soviet Cosmonauts.
The Flightmaster is often distinguished by two generations of watches featuring the caliber 911 or 910 movements. The example Justin picked is a caliber 911 Flightmaster. It also features a transitional dial, which we can determine based on the font used on the seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock.
Ref. 145.026 also features a very distinctive tonneau-shaped case flanked by pushers, an inner rotatable bezel, and colorful details on the dial.
Our example was produced around 1971 and is in overall great honest condition. The original Sunburst finishing is still visible on the dial, as is the original “Flightmaster” logo—a remarkable vintage Omega.

TOP WOMEN’S NEW ARRIVAL – EMILY’S PICK
Vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref. 6629
For this edition of Watch in the Box, Emily didn’t pick just any Oyster Perpetual Date. She chose an outstanding all-gold example on a unique block bracelet.
The traditional Date always features a 34mm waterproof Oyster case, a Perpetual movement with self-winding, and a jump date mechanism. Design set options can range from all-steel to two-tone and full-gold, and include countless dial and bezel variations.
Ref. 6629 is a truly remarkable edition of the Date featuring a rare “block” bracelet with square-shaped links, a barked bezel, and a striking champagne dial decorated with yellow gold nipple hour markers and Tritium lume.
The case is outfitted with an older-style acrylic crystal, further adding to its retro appeal.

TOP VINTAGE NEW ARRIVAL – BRANDON’S PICK
Vintage Rolex Submariner ref. 5513
Rolex simultaneously produced two editions of the time-only Submariner 55XX series, one with a chronometer-rated movement and one without. Ref. 5513 is the latter, featuring the caliber 1520 Perpetual movement and a striking two-liner dial.
Where we would typically see the text “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified,” we simply see the Submariner logo and depth rating.
Because ref. 5513 was not COSC-rated, it was also the more affordable option between the two watches and enjoyed a much longer production run. As a result, there is a seemingly infinite array of design set options, depending on the year the watch was produced.
Brandon’s example features a Mark V dial with feet-first font and lovely creamy Tritium hour markers. It features an older-style acrylic crystal, a 93150 Oyster bracelet with 580 end links, and an interesting case mismatch case back stamped “5512.”
