The Young Architects Professional Forum RIBA launch event looks to promote practice, study, and research opportunities in the north east of England. Held at INTO Newcastle University, the event featured several speakers from various backgrounds and was a great chance to meet and discuss various things that we are all working towards.
I was given a chance to talk about my route into architecture and also about my PhD. Sticking to five minutes was hard - I definitely went over my allocated time - but seeing people in person again after online Teams and Zoom meetings was great.
Thanks to all involved and especially the team that organised the whole event.
