Please enjoy this weeks video selection which features the following;
Something I don't see very often are locomotive with the long end leading. The two featured in this video caught me by surprise. I knew they were coming, but didn't realise they were long end leading. Oddly enough, even though they were about 11 days apart, I'm filming from very similar positions. Generally, if I'm filming from here it's because I'm utilising the trees over the road to shield the sun from the camera or, sometimes because I'm hiding from the rain, as reflected in the second video.
The 1st one is a Pacific National transcontinental train listed as a super freighter. It generally runs multiple locomotives but today, for some reason is running NR88(Dimboola) solo ahead of a rake of 68 platforms. The 2nd one running long end first is SCT's "Dooen" which is utilising SCT011 running long end first and utilising lease vehicle CLF2 as the support vehicle ahead of a rake of 45 wagons.
More details in the clips.

Please watch the video, leave a like, followed by a comment and I’ll get back to you when I can. About me: I like to film trains as often as I can. Most of what comes through my part of Victoria, Australia are freight and grain trains. They are predominately Standard Gauge and run on the main line between Melbourne, Victoria and Adelaide, South Australia. I do also get some trains occasionally along the old Broad Gauge line that runs between North Geelong and Ballarat.
I have over 1250 videos, a lot of which are in playlists. I have a variety of end screens that I use, so be sure to keep an eye out for them, as they often change.
