It's been six months since I moved to Liverpool to study master's. My day starts with waking up at 7-8 am to prepare and walk down to the university for the early morning classes. It's been very difficult being on my own here in the UK, especially at first because I'm used to all my family members around me, but I've gotten used to it eventually. I usually have a nice breakfast before heading to the campus at the university. Today was not so different, as I was up early and had a good breakfast while listening to music. I had a quick walk around campus before heading to class for the morning, and I got to know about the part-time fair happening at university square.

As an international student, my life can be described as relatively smooth with a few rough patches. At first I was apprehensive of having to study in a new country but once I settled in I realised that I had no reason to be worried. The university environment was very welcoming and the professors provided a lot of support throughout my studies. This enabled me to feel very comfortable in my surroundings and the international students in the program provided a good source of support for me.
