A Mexican actress called Thalia, who caused a storm during her first visit to the Philippines last year, is back in Manila.
During her visit, she will give a two-day concert for her Filipino fans.
Thalia, an actress from Mexico, outdid all her Philippine television rivals last year, when her telenovela, "Marimar" surged to the top of the ratings.
The phenomenal success of Thalia's soap opera shown on television last year has earned her scores of fans in the Philippines.
During her first visit to the country in August last year she was mobbed when she arrived at the airport.
Her return to Manila on Wednesday was a less frantic affair.
The welcoming party had diminished somewhat, although she was still hounded by the press even as her flight landed in the early hours of the morning.
The star says she's enjoying her return visit.
