Sky News presenter Tim Gilbert says many governments will refuse to send their athletes to this year's Tokyo Olympics unless the event is rescheduled to a time when the world isn't stricken by the coronavirus outbreak.
Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said his country is still prepared to host the games this July despite concern about the health of the athletes during the global spread of the coronavirus.
Mr Gilbert said while he understands why the Japanese government wants to host the games, "you can't run it if every other country said it's not coming".
"What happens when other countries say they will not send their athletes?"
It's a very difficult one but I can't see it running to time, I cannot see it running where the schedule is, I think they will have to ping it to the back-end of the year of next year."
