TRAVIS SCOTT MEAL (Travis Scott x Bao Bei)
Travis Scott aka La Flame aka Cactus Jack just released a meal at McDonalds which includes a Quarter Pounder (bacon,lettuce,cheese), Sprite, French Fries and some Tangy BBQ Sauce. Since he is one of my favorite artists, I wanted to pay respects by trying this meal out and making the absolute greatest Quarter Pounder ever... fit for a rockstar. Enjoy ~
Recipe (4 servings)
Sauce:
- Japanese Mayo (1.5 tbl)
- Ketchup (1 tbl)
- Mustard (1 tbl)
- Sriracha (1 tbl)
- BBQ Sauce (1.5 tbl)
- Worstershire Sauce (1 tbl)
- Salt//Pepper (pinch of each)
- Pickle (small diced)
Mix all ingredients to make the most AMAZING Burger Sauce
Burger:
- Ground Beef 80/20 (1 pound)
- Onions (2 medium)
- Pickles (2 medium)
- Lettuce (Handful)
- Sesame Buns (4)
- Bacon (as much as you want)
- Butter (a couple chunks)
- American Cheese (8 slices)
1. Prepare toppings by cutting lettuce and pickles into bite size pieces. Then dice the onion and saute on a low-medium heat for 20 minutes until caramelized. Add in a chunk of butter, salt/pepper in the last few minutes.
2. Shape ground beef very gently into a meatball and season all sides with some salt and pepper. Get a cast-iron pan raging hot and then throw in the patty. Push down with a spatula to flatten out. Cook each side for a couple of minutes. In the last minute throw on a slice of cheese.
3. Toast the buns on a low heat with some butter, be sure to toast both sides.
4. ASSEMBLE! Sauce→Patty→Bacon→Onion→Lettuce→Pickles→Sauce→Bun.
The Greatest Quarter Pounder and perhaps greatest burger ever.
