[ Ссылка ] Prodigy front-man Keith Flint dead at 49
According to Prodigy co-founder Liam Howlett Flint committed suicide. Reports are saying his death isn't considered suspicious. Flint was found dead at his home in London.
In a statement, the band called him, "A true pioneer, innovator, and legend. He will be forever missed."
Even music fans who may not know the band by name would have heard their hits “Firestarter” and “Breathe.” The Prodigy had 7 number 1 albums in Britain including their 2018 project “No Tourists in 2018. They were techno, acid house, an electronic band that sold over 30 million records. Their chart success started in 1991 with tunes like “Everybody in the Place,” “Fire “/“Jerocho” and “Out of Space” the following year. The aforementioned “Firestarter and Breath both went to #1. They had 18 Top hits in the U.K.
If you saw Flint anywhere on video, concert or next to you ti would be impossible to ignore him. He was pure energy on stage going a 100 miles an hour wearing black eyeliner, spiked hair and horns.
Howlett said on Instagram, "I'm shell shocked ... confused and heartbroken.”
He was born Keith Charles Flint on Sept. 17, 1969, in East London.
The Chemical Brothers tweeted that Flint "as an amazing frontman, a true original and he will be missed." - by John Beaudin

John Beaudin has been in major market radio (Edmonton, Vancouver & Calgary) for 35 years and a music journalist since 1989. He graduated from Broadcasting school as a news man so he would have the skills to write about the artists that inspired him since he bought his first album, “Madman Across The Water” by Elton John as a teen. In the 80's Beaudin was the host of the syndicated radio show “The Cross Canada Report” which had two versions (Rock and A/C). Beaudin was also asked to be a judge at the Juno Awards (Canada's answer to the Grammys) Twice. He has anchored every position in radio including morning and afternoon drive and was a Program and Music Director for The Breeze and California 103 in Calgary. He currently hosts the popular Lovesongs at QM-FM in Vancouver and on iHeartRadio.
