MANY ARE SICK BECAUSE OF UNFORGIVENESS
Jesus said in Matthew 18:21-35 that if we refuse to forgive someone who hurt us then we will be turned over to the tormentors. Demons torment us with thousands of negative thoughts in our minds every day and causes much of our sickness and disease in our bodies.
Matthew 6:14-15 says if we don’t forgive others who hurt us then we won’t be forgiven for our sins. Many of those who refuse to forgive have anger, bitterness and torment in their mind and physical sickness like cancer and other diseases because their sins are not forgiven.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean you have to reconcile with the person who hurt you as then they would just hurt you more and then you would have more wounds. Forgiveness means you give all your anger and hurt and bitterness to Jesus and desire no veangence for the person who did you wrong. You give the person who hurt you to Jesus to deal with. Dr. Steven Standiford did research that showed over 60% of adults with cancer was related to unforgiveness.
So how do you forgive from your heart? You don’t need to go to the person who hurt you and tell them you are forgiving them. You simply ask Jesus to show you how the person who hurt you was hurt when they were growing up. Then Jesus will show you how they got hurt often by a parent or someone. Sometimes sexually exposed to porn or molested. Then you can see why they became the person that hurt you. They had demons. So then say “I choose to forgive (the person) for causing me to feel (and then name off all your toxic emotions like anger, bitterness, rejection, betrayal, unworthy, hatred, dumb, not good enough, etc) and give all those emotions to Jesus and ask Him to heal you”. Then command all the demons that attached to your soul to go to the pit in Jesus name. Then you should feel much lighter and no longer be tormented every day by thoughts from the demons. You essentially will be able to forget about all the bad stuff they did and move forward in your life. Then you can help others who were hurt to forgive and be freed.
