What if I told you that Butterick made OTHER wrap dresses in similar style to their #1 selling pattern EVER, Butterick 6015, The Walkaway Dress?
Today, we are looking at just two of those other patterns. Butterick 6836 was issued in 1954 (just 2 years after the original Butterick 6015) and Butterick 5368 issued in 1969, and nick named the Whirl-Away Dress. My goal is to see just how similar (or different) these three vintage patterns truly are, AND to try and give you cheaper options when you want a Walkaway style dress without the vintage price tag of the original vintage sewing pattern.
Butterick 6015: Bust 32", Waist 26.5", Hip 35"
Butterick 6836: Bust 34", Waist 28", Hip 37"
Butterick 5368: Bust 36", Waist 27", Hip 38"
