The park named after Gafur Gulyam, formerly known as "40 Years of Komsomol of Uzbekistan", was laid out in 1967 on the site of a vacant lot during the construction of the Chilanzar district. Later, after Uzbekistan gained independence, it was first renamed into Mirzo Ulugbek Park, and later acquired its current name - Gafur Gulyam Park. And recently another name Dream Park appeared, but both names are marked together on the map. The park was renovated and reopened in 2022.
By the way, those who are new may be confused, as there is a metro station named after Gafur Gulyam in the city, and the park of the same name is located near Mirzo Ulugbek metro station. These metro stations are not adjacent to each other.
The park is the oldest and the mature trees are very happy with their crowns.
Walk from 15.07.2023.
