Garlic Butter Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 450g chicken fillets, cut into small bites
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 cup bell peppers, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 green chilies, diagonally sliced
- 2 bird’s eye chilies, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce (preferably sweet soy sauce)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup onions, cut into chunks

Cooking Instructions
1. **Marinate the Chicken**
- In a bowl, mix the chicken with garlic paste, ginger paste, paprika, salt, and cornstarch. Set aside to marinate while you prepare the other ingredients.
2. **Cook the Chicken**
- Heat a pan on medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and shallow fry until browned on one side. Flip and cook until the other side is browned as well. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
3. **Sauté the Garlic**
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, making use of the flavorful bits left from cooking the chicken.
4. **Cook the Vegetables**
- Add the bell peppers, green chilies, and bird’s eye chilies. Sauté until the vegetables are slightly softened and aromatic.
5. **Prepare the Sauce**
- Add the butter to the pan and let it melt. Stir in the soy sauce and water, mixing well to create a glossy sauce.
6. **Combine Everything**
- Return the chicken to the pan, stirring to coat it in the sauce. Add the onions and toss everything together.
7. **Finish and Serve**
- Taste and adjust salt if needed. Turn off the heat and serve hot with rice or your favorite side dish.
