The aim of this detector project is to deploy many detectors across a park or landscape. So that an observer from a distance or walking amongst them will experience how cosmic rays arrive in showers of particles. Each detector will seem to randomly twinkle with colours and sounds that are triggered by cosmic rays. However, as cosmic rays arrive in showers of particles, some of these detectors will trigger in unison and others independently. The experience being similar to what can be witnessed in nature like swarms of Cicadas or Fireflies, where sounds or lights fade in and out in randomness to unison.
