We rejoin the story in Merzouga, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Our two Honda 125cc bikes were still working well but now, they would really be challeneged. Mountains, sand and plenty of wind as we headed south from Morocco, through Mauritania and into Senegal.

The ultimate destination on this trip is South Africa from our home in England...
