Must See on Bohol, Philippines - Hidden Gem!

In this video we explore Bohol Island in the Philippines, a destination known for its stunning nature, Chocolate Hills, beautiful beaches, secret waterfalls, and much more!

After an incredible time in Palawan, we decided it was time for a change of scenery and set our sights on Bohol. Our journey took us from El Nido to Puerto Princesa, where we enjoyed a couple of relaxing days with an amazing Couchsurfing host.

From Puerto Princesa, we hopped on a flight to Cebu, but instead of staying there, we headed straight to the ferry terminal and boarded a direct ferry to Bohol.

Bohol is a paradise with countless attractions, and in this video, we want to highlight one of the must-see spots on the island - the Tarsier Sanctuary.

Located in Corella, the Tarsier Sanctuary is a vast forest area dedicated to the protection of tarsiers - small nocturnal primates with big, round eyes that primarily feed on insects. With an entrance fee of just 50 PHP (approximately 1.3 USD) per person, this sanctuary is a place we highly recommend to everyone. Just remember to admire these adorable creatures from a respectful distance, as they are very timid.

It's important to note that there is another similar place on the island that should be avoided, as they prioritize profit over the well-being of the animals.
