Phil Heath is the one to beat at the Mr. Olympia 2018 – this much is obvious. But with a close call last year due to Big Ramy’s incredible showing, could this be the year the reigning king is dethroned?
With such a promising showing at the 2017 Olympia, Big Ramy is the front-runner who could topple Phil Heath. Ramy already has the size that makes him stand out, but the real question is, can he bring the right conditioning to the stage?. From the looks of some recent progress pictures, it seems Big Ramy and Oxygen Gym are NOT playing any games…Ten weeks out from the Olympia, Big Ramy is looking extremely impressive.
It doesn’t look like Phil Heath is leaving anything up to chance as this latest video update, compiled by Fazi Fitness, shows that Phil Heath is training twice a day for his Olympia prep. This year’s win could mean that Phil joins the world record pantheon of eight Mr. Olympia titles – only shared by Ronnie Coleman and Lee Haney. While many believe Phil is still a shoe-in to win this year’s competition, it will never the less be an exciting Olympia with so much on the line. Check out the video above!
