This webinar aims to support participants in creating a respectful and
inclusive educational environment that aligns with the cultural and legal
standards of the UAE. It highlights the importance of adhering to UAE
legislation, ensuring that all school practices and teaching materials
comply with local laws and regulations. The focus is on guiding teachers
to develop lesson plans and select teaching resources that are age-
appropriate and culturally considerate, avoiding any content that
promotes inappropriate stereotypes or behaviour contrary to UAE values.
Additionally, it aims to foster respect for UAE cultural and social norms
within the school community. Participation in induction and annual
refresher training on cultural considerations is required for all teachers
and staff.
