This video covers the making of one of the most famous of all French salads named after the city of Nice, on the Cote d'Azur, Province, in France. The classic Salad Niçoise was an hors d'œuvre, an appetizer served before the first course, the French entrée and can be made with tuna and or anchovies. The "salade niçoise" of France combines lettuce with potatoes, green beans, olives, tuna, tomatoes, and anchovies, all dressed with olive oil and vinegar.
