A short TGV Atlantique stops at the Oakland station to pickup some passengers then dashes through the towns of Shelby and Crockett, on the HO Scale DCC Layout at Carquinez Model Railroad Society.


The TGV Atlantique is a high-speed train used in France by the SNCF (the French railway). As the name implies, they run on the corridors between Paris and western France. The trains are composed of two power cars and ten coaches in between, and are often seen operated in pairs. Their maximum speed on their dedicated high speed track is 300 km/h, about 186 mph.
