The Kanthavara Temple Fair (Jatre/Jatri) is held every year in the month of January from 14th day to the 21st day of the month. Devotees from the nearby village gather around for the for the Temple Fair and the whole atmosphere is of celebration and participation in various traditional rituals. This is a part of a series of two video from the 21st day where the idols of Shiva and Parvati are brought out of the Temple and placed in the chariot (Ratha). This video is of the priest carrying the Shiva idol and the dance so that the devotees can have a glimpse of the idol before it is placed in the chariot.
