Here's the early game location for Chimchar in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Make your way over to Deertrack Heights and look for the monkeys on a cliff near a lone tree on the northern side. He is a rare spawn so reload the area if you don't see it at first. Monferno spawns are even rarer here so good luck.
