Minister for Communications, Electronics & IT, and Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, chief guest at the fifth edition of ETTelecom 5G Congress - 2022, in his keynote address to the industry, government, regulatory and other stakeholders said that a complete ecosystem of fifth generation or 5G technology including core and radio networks as well as handsets, is being developed indigenously in the country.
The Minister also said that the government is working to ensure that the auction process for 5G can be commenced on time after the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) sends in its recommendations.
