On my journey to Financial Independence, I've had had my share of misconceptions. I aim to keep learning all the time and this has helped me to expand my understanding of financial independence and improve my speed in getting to my goal. 1. Must have a high income
2. Must save a massive amount of income
3. Means no luxury items ever.
4. Means “never working again”
5. Only one way to do FIRE
6. FIRE is only for the young
7. Financial Independence is dependent on the stock market
